I'm enjoying making pots with decoration inspired by favourite Scottish wildflowers, berries, weeds and trees including snowdrops, bluebells, ramsons, primroses, dandelions, cleavers, sorrell, stitchwort, campion, hawthorn and brambles.
I decorate them with coloured slips, stains, glazes and oxides and sgraffito lines (scratched through the cream coloured background slip with a needle to the terracotta clay beneath). I'm also experimenting with handmade stamps/sprigs to give texture and impressions of berries and leaves.
Most of the pieces shown below are already sold but you can contact me to find out what I have in stock or order something similar. Some pieces are also available to buy online here.
You can see also view examples of my older work which I am unlikely to have in stock but can make to order.
